The Ministry of Higher Education and Highways (Sinhalese: ???? ???????? ?? ???????? ???????????, translit. Usas Adhy?pana H? Mah?m?rga Am?ty???aya; Tamil: ???? ????? ??????? ????????????? ???????, translit. Uyar Kalvi Ma??um Ne?uñc?laika? Amaiccu) is a cabinet ministry of the Government of Sri Lanka responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on higher education and highways and other subjects which come under its purview. Broadly, this involves the maintenance, expansion, standardisation and general oversight and regulation of higher education institutions in the country, as well as the development, maintenance and management of the national highway network.
The current Minister of Higher Education and Highways, State Minister of Higher Education and State Minister of Highways are Kabir Hashim, Mohan Lal Grero and Dilan Perera respectively. The ministry's secretary is D. C. Dissanayake.
